SUMMARY
BGIS is dedicated to safeguarding critical environments through advanced preventive maintenance and building automation systems. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Operator Millwright with a strong foundation in Electrical and Mechanical to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid trade certificate and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preventive Maintenance and Repair of HVAC System’s
• Read and interpret drawings, • Practice safe work habits by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment, ensuring compliance to all applicable safety regulation. • Able to work independently with limited supervision, perform all work in compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards. • Able to write maintenance and job-specific technical reports. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of maintenance records, and incident reports. • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment including but not limited to, fan coil units, fan power boxes, force fan heats. • Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechnical equipment. • Maintenance of building automation systems including knowledge of Johnson Controls MetaSys Building environment platform.
Communication and Documentation
▪ Collaborate with coworker to address maintenance issue collectively. ▪ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, maintenance records.
