Viory is seeking a Broadcast Engineer for its Master Control Room in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing live broadcasts, ingest processes, and VOD operations, as well as operating studio facilities for small productions.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficient functioning of the master control room
- Handle the technical aspects of live broadcasts, including signal routing, audio/video synchronization, graphics integration
- Oversee the ingest process, which involves capturing and recording content from various sources
- Contribute to the operations related to Video on Demand services
- Operate the studio facilities for small productions, which could involve setting up cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other necessary tools
Requirements
- Completed media training (e.g., media designer image/sound, event technician), studies in media engineering or comparable professional experience in television and radio technology
- Experience and passion in technology and studio production, as well as with studio equipment, production systems and streaming systems
- In depth knowledge and experience with NLE systems, technical quality control and assurance, correction of file based video files
- Strong teamwork and communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
- Anticipatory and solution oriented action, also in stressful situations of live operation, as well as good English language skills
- Flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends and on public holidays, with an 'on call' mentality

Your Mission
- As a Broadcast Engineer in the Master Control Room (MCR), you will be critical to the smooth running of live broadcasts, ingest processes and video on demand (VOD) operations around the clock.
