AECOM is seeking a Bridge Design Project Engineer IV for employment in the Columbus, Ohio office.
The role performs transportation structure design analysis and plan preparation, including bridge work in Texas and projects across the Western United States.
The position provides technical growth and advancement opportunities within an experienced bridge group.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical resource or technical advisor for the team.
- Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs.
- Develop study and design procedures for high-quality, cost-effective work by others.
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
- Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort.
- Complete the discipline component of PS&E packages.
- Review design calculations and drawings for quality control.
- Prepare technical specification sections.
- Provide input to engineering budgets and schedules.
- Perform transportation structure design analysis and plan preparation for bridge projects.
