About the Role

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in marketing, retail management, or a related discipline.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in home furnishings or related sectors.
• Familiarity with merchandising software or inventory management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain merchandising plans according to company standards and seasonal campaigns.
• Arrange and replenish product displays to ensure shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with store management and the merchandising team to execute promotional setups and signage.
• Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor and assist with stockroom organization and replenishment.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product information and locating items.
• Report on merchandising effectiveness and customer feedback to help refine merchandising strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all merchandising activities.
