Company and opportunity
Canopy Growth develops cannabis and hemp-derived consumer products with a focus on consumer experiences, growth, and regulated markets.
The Brand Manager will act as the general manager of an assigned brand portfolio and partner across innovation, sales, insights, finance, regulatory, and operations.
Brand strategy and planning
- Develop annual brand plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Define brand positioning, value propositions, and consumer targeting strategies.
- Identify growth opportunities through consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Manage brand performance against business and marketing objectives.
Innovation and insights
- Collaborate on the product pipeline from concept through commercialization and launch new products and line extensions.
- Develop business cases and forecasts for innovation initiatives and monitor product performance.
- Use quantitative and qualitative research to understand consumers and translate insights into marketing initiatives.
- Track category trends, competitive activity, and emerging consumer preferences.
Marketing execution
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns across retail, digital, experiential, and trade channels.
- Work with agency partners and internal creative teams to maintain brand consistency and campaign effectiveness.
- Manage campaign performance and optimize initiatives using data-driven insights.
