Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, passionate, curious and collaborative finance professional to join our team.
  • As the Finance Manager Middle East, you will work closely with the regional leadership and play a key role in supporting and managing a broad range of finance activities across the region.

YOUR MISSIONS

  • Full ownership and coordination of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in close collaboration with local and European teams.
  • Preparation and review of monthly accruals, including tax accruals
  • Supervision of compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
  • Review of financial statements
  • Preparation of reporting packages for Region and Group Finance
  • Supervision of intercompany reconciliations
  • Monthly cost control and variance analysis
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and scenario planning
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Development of business plans for the newly created joint venture
  • KPI monitoring and performance optimization
  • Main finance contact for JV partners

YOUR PROFILE

  • Previous experience as an accountant or controller in retail / luxury retail business with evidenced progression in roles/responsibilities
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in reporting with Oracle HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) will be an asset
  • Prior experience supporting or leading integration activities, including process mapping and continuous improvement
  • Prior experience and knowledge in SAP modules BI/Controlling Power BI or other BI tools will be an advantage
  • Experience in budgeting and strategic planning will be highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills
  • Proactive and a self starter
  • Outstanding planning skills – keeping and maintaining the list of deadlines & projects
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective and positive team player with an agile, collaborative and inclusive approach
  • Sound decision making skills with a customer focus
