About the Opportunity
- Banking is becoming one of the decisive front lines of systemic risk management.
- Climate volatility, cyber exposure, infrastructure fragility, AI disruption, energy transition, water stress, food system vulnerability, health security, supply chain instability, sovereign risk, debt stress, geopolitical uncertainty, and disaster loss are no longer isolated externalities.
- The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) is onboarding senior banking leaders to join the GRA Banking Council within the National Councils of Nexus Consortiums.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape national and thematic priorities for finance readiness, resilience finance, infrastructure readiness, credit relevant risk intelligence, and responsible innovation.
- Mobilize senior leaders across commercial banking, investment banking, development banking, infrastructure finance, project finance, risk, treasury, sustainability, technology, insurance, public finance, and institutional capital.
- Support development of finance readable, insurance aware, and implementation relevant risk and innovation portfolios.
- Contribute to working groups on climate finance, disaster risk finance, infrastructure resilience, blended finance, transition finance, SME resilience, supply chain risk, cyber risk, sovereign and municipal risk, and investible readiness.
- Help prepare portfolios for annual stress testing, simulation, dashboarding, and global build cycle presentation.
- Promote no reliance discipline, regulated perimeter awareness, responsible claims, public good boundaries, and lawful implementation pathways.
Your Profile
- Commercial banking, investment banking, development banking, corporate banking, infrastructure finance, project finance, trade finance, transaction banking, treasury, capital markets, credit risk, portfolio management, or structured finance.
- Risk management, enterprise risk, operational risk, climate risk, cyber risk, transition finance, sustainable finance, resilience finance, blended finance, public finance, or sovereign and municipal finance.
- Credit analysis, exposure management, capital allocation, portfolio stress testing, scenario analysis, client transition planning, infrastructure lending, or national development finance.
- Financial technology, digital infrastructure, data systems, AI, risk analytics, compliance, regulatory strategy, or financial market infrastructure.
- Public private finance programs, development finance, multilateral finance, public authority learning, infrastructure strategy, or national resilience planning.
- Senior stakeholder mobilization across banks, public authorities, development institutions, insurers, investors, infrastructure owners, technology providers, universities, and communities.
