Job Description
The employer is seeking a passionate and dynamic maintenance professional who can deliver high customer service and practical solutions to guests.
The BMS Operator supervises and controls the building management system and monitors plant activities for building services.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide planned preventive maintenance schedules to the maintenance supervisor and follow up on implementation.
- Analyse plant behaviour against set points and configure control parameters.
- Perform daily plant performance audits using BMS data logging, plant review, and alarm manager status.
- Diagnose plant failures and specify remedial actions for supervisor approval.
- Use historical plant data to propose efficiency, operating cost, and service improvements.
- Program the BMS, PPM system, and other plant systems for automatic periodic testing.
Systems and Equipment
- Relevant systems and equipment include the standby power generator, diesel-driven fire-fighting pump, and fire alarm system.
Education and Experience
- A degree in BMS mechanical engineering is desirable.
