Job Summary
Magrabi Health is seeking a qualified Biomedical Engineer in Jeddah.
The role independently repairs and maintains medical equipment and supports technical staff training and job performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventories of medical equipment and surgical instruments.
- Repair, test, and calibrate diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment and maintain records.
- Plan annual inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer instructions.
- Monitor radiation and laser safety and apply required measures.
- Submit monthly indicator reports to the biomedical engineering manager.
- Provide formal and informal technical training and support to clinical and technical staff.
- Participate in the facility education program and solve equipment problems analytically.
- Document repairs, replaced parts, calibrations, and modifications.
- Identify obsolete equipment and support assessment and selection of new equipment.
- Interact with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain a neat work area and perform duties professionally.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in biomedical engineering.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
