MEAD Medical is looking for a
Biomedical Service Engineer
to join our technical service team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, user training, and technical support for medical equipment supplied to hospitals, ambulance services, emergency medical services, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission, and hand over medical equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, calibration, and safety checks.
- Diagnose technical faults and carry out repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Prepare service reports, installation reports, maintenance records, and warranty documentation.
- Provide technical support and product training to end users.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal sales/service teams.
- Maintain proper documentation for all service activities.
- Support tender requirements by preparing technical compliance, service plans, and after-sales support documents when required.
- Ensure all service work complies with company procedures, manufacturer standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Manage spare parts usage, service tools, and equipment records responsibly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in
Biomedical Engineering
,
Electronics Engineering
- , or a related technical field.
- Minimum
- 3–5 years of experience
- in servicing medical equipment.
- Experience with emergency, critical care, ambulance, diagnostic, or hospital equipment is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with healthcare staff and technical teams.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
- Willingness to travel within the UAE for customer visits and service calls.
