Overview
The BIM Modeler – Mechanical creates and maintains high-quality Revit MEP models for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting) in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan and LOD requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Revit MEP models for HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
- Implement BIM models to the specified Level of Development (LOD) per project BEP.
- Participate in multi-discipline clash detection exercises using Navisworks and coordinate resolutions.
- Extract 2D drawings, schedules, and material quantities from Revit models.
- Collaborate with Electrical and Civil BIM modelers for federated model coordination.
- Maintain model integrity, naming conventions, and comply with ISO 19650 BIM standards.
- Coordinate with on-site teams and engineers to incorporate design changes into the model.
