Our newest opportunity is for a number of e xperienced BIM Engineers to join our consultant team on a short-term contract basis to support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to contribute remotely from anywhere in the world, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and project managers. We envisage success in this role to include: Assist in the preparation 2D and 3D drawings for utility networks (wet and dry utilities) using Civil 3D. Support BIM clash resolution, under the guidance of BIM coordinator and discipline engineers. Maintain compliance with project-specific CAD/BIM requirements. Develop and manage 3D models of utility infrastructure (wet and dry utilities) using Civil 3D Pipe and Pressure Networks. Collaborate with discipline engineers and technicians. Coordinate multidisciplinary models (utilities, roads, structures) and resolve clashes. Participate in model review and BIM coordination meetings. Required Disciplines Pressurized Networks Power Telecoms Gravity networks Dry Utilities Wet Utilities To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field and 3-5 years experience. Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, particularly in modeling gravity and pressure pipe networks.
Experience
in federated BIM environments and clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools.
Ability to automate or customize Civil 3D workflows using tools such as Dynamo, .NET, or scripts is a plus. 3–5+ years of experience in BIM modeling for infrastructure projects.
Proficient in using Autodesk Civil 3D for Road modeling (Roads, Corridors and any Roads related elements) Understanding the BIM workflows and related deliverables/documentation Ability the coordinate with the other disciplines Assure clean models with the related required data (ex.
Naming convention)
Experience
in using Navisworks Manage for navigating the clashes related to road discipline.
Familiar with using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Experience
in using Navisworks manage.
