Project Overview
- Bechtel provides PMC services for King Salman International Airport development in Riyadh.
- The project includes three new terminals: Terminal 6, Iconic Terminal, and Private Aviation Terminal.
Major Responsibilities
- Ensures coordination of BIM activities among design subcontractors.
- Provides BIM production support and champions maintenance of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Develops and enhances standardized BIM workflows.
- Maintains project Exchange Information Requirements.
- Trains project delivery teams on CDE and BIM workflows.
- Develops workflows for interoperability between BIM/CAD and GIS.
- Conducts regular assessments of BIM implementation.
- Provides operational support to BIM coordinators at third party firms.
- Develops processes for 4D simulations and quantity take offs.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or relevant work experience with 5+ yrs in a BIM role.
- Experience working with multi disciplinary teams in a project delivery environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to relay BIM/CIM solutions.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Capture lessons learned and manage implementation of improved workflows.
- Creation and maintenance of federated models.
- Single and multi discipline design coordination.
- Performing clash and coordination detection.
- Conduct model audits and liaise with Client's BIM Manager.
- Supports design and construction reviews.
- Create standard processes for model based design quantity take offs.
