The client is a BIM and CAD outsourcing firm headquartered in Ahmedabad serving AEC firms across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia.
The team delivers BIM solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects, including coordinated models, construction documentation, and reality-capture outputs.
Role Overview
The BIM Architect develops, coordinates, and manages detailed Building Information Models using Autodesk Revit.
The role translates design intent into accurate, data-rich models and construction-ready documentation for international projects.
The position requires an architectural background, BIM software proficiency, and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and manage architectural BIM models from LOD 100 to LOD 500 using Autodesk Revit.
- Create plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed shop drawings.
- Perform Navisworks clash detection and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Collaborate with international project managers, architects, and engineers on model accuracy and design intent.
- Apply AIA, ISO, or client-specific BIM standards for naming, file management, and data integrity.
- Respond to client RFIs and incorporate design changes and revisions into models.
- Conduct quality checks for coordinated, clash-free models that comply with project specifications.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver digital outputs on schedule.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- B.Arch degree is mandatory; candidates without it will not be considered.
- The role requires 1 to 4 years of professional experience in BIM modeling, architectural drafting, or coordination.
- Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required, including architectural modeling, families, schedules, and worksharing.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection, reviewing, and coordination is required.
- Candidates need strong knowledge of architectural design, building systems, construction methods, and international drafting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, accurate interpretation of multidisciplinary drawings, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability are required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Rhino is preferred.
- Experience with US, UK, or Middle Eastern projects is preferred.
