Job Summary
Monitor assigned customer account portfolios to minimize risk and support responsible account collection.
Analyze customer payment habits and recommend account status decisions.
Major Tasks and Accountabilities
- Prepare analysis and reporting for Credit Services.
- Compile and analyze Credit Services productivity metrics.
- Conduct portfolio risk, receivables efficiency, delinquency, and aging analyses.
- Set up new accounts and ship-to records and maintain customer information in related systems.
- Conduct quality audits and recommend workflow, process, and policy improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments on efficiency and reporting enhancements.
- Perform tax maintenance and validation and research certificates for the Tax department.
- Generate weekly credit line review reports and own the weekly review process.
- Conduct credit reviews for new and existing customers and obtain references.
- Complete special projects involving tax expiration reports, response times, IT, and vendors.
Nature and Scope
- Resolve missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies in complex research and data.
- Work with increasing independence and seek guidance for unusual or complex issues.
- May provide general guidance or training to junior support or professional personnel.
Work Environment
- The role is located in a comfortable indoor area with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
- Most work is performed seated, with opportunities to move about and occasional light lifting.
- Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- A related bachelor’s degree and generally 2–5 years of related experience are typically required.
- Alternatively, a related master’s degree and generally 2–4 years of related experience may qualify.
- Certification is required in some areas.
