Job Summary
The role evaluates production processes and systems to identify cost savings, process improvements, and quality opportunities.
The position focuses on manufacturing efficiency, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, resource utilization, continuous improvement, and food safety and quality compliance.
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
- Follow health, safety, food safety, and environmental procedures and understand individual legal obligations.
- Apply material-handling ergonomics and help reduce environmental impacts and operating costs.
- Monitor product quality, report product or packaging faults, identify process abnormalities, and take emergency preventive action.
- Maintain hygienic production operations and complete machinery safety and CRQS activities at the standard frequency.
Production Operations
- Operate machinery according to instructions while meeting efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
- Set process parameters, correct deviations, maintain cleanliness using standard procedures and 5S, and perform minor adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Perform machine blend and format changeovers and operate production technologies effectively.
- Escalate safety, quality, and productivity non-compliance to the Manufacturing Coordinator or Team Leader.
