Maintains knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
Maintains complete knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method, and garnishes for each drink.
Maintains complete knowledge of and strictly adhere to state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
Follows all liquor control measures including drink portion controls and the bottle requisition policy of the property.
Maintains complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, menus, price range, and dress code of assigned outlet.
Obtains assigned bank and ensures the accuracy of contracted monies; keeps the bank secure at all times.
Completes opening side duties.
Inspects cleanliness and condition of bar, guest, and service areas; rectifies any deficiencies.

Greets guests and takes their orders (food and beverage),utilizing suggestive/up-selling techniques.

Extends courteous salutations when guests leave the outlet and invites them to return.
Closes all guest checks in in the POS System immediately upon payment.
Cleans and resets bar top and tables immediately after guests depart.
Cleans glassware in glass machine/three compartment sink.
Directs and assists Bar Backs and Cocktail Servers in their job functions to ensure smooth and efficient service to guests.
Completes all closing reports in the POS system.
Counts bank at end of shift; completes cashier reports and drop receipts; secures bank.
Attendance is a key component of this position.
Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with Company standards; wears the appropriate uniform or attire.
Maintains open and effective communication with team members and management.
Attends and participates in team meetings.
Adheres to established safety and emergency procedures and protocols, this includes Company, federal, and state specific regulations and guidelines.
Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent; must be 21 years of age or older.
A minimum one (1) year of experience as a Bartender or bar back in the food and beverage field required.
No supervisory experience required.
Food Handler's Card - must be state/county-specific.
Alcohol Awareness Training Certification - must be state/county-specific.
Privately held U.S. third-party hotel manager operating premium-brand, lifestyle, and independent properties for hotel owners.
