Bartender

The Bartender is the warm, energetic face of the hotel bar.

This role prepares and serves beverages and food to a high standard while helping guests feel welcome, relaxed and at their best away from home.

The Bartender brings the EVEN Hotels wellness-minded experience to life through thoughtful choices, friendly conversation, local knowledge and attentive service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest promptly and create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and food accurately, consistently and with attractive presentation.

• Know the menu and confidently recommend both traditional favorites and balanced, wellness-minded options based on guest preferences.

• Verify identification, follow responsible alcohol-service practices and comply with all Florida alcohol laws and hotel policies.

• Take orders, enter transactions in the POS system, process cash and credit payments accurately, and maintain proper check control.

• Set up, stock and break down the bar; monitor product levels, rotate inventory and report shortages or equipment concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organized and inviting bar, including glassware, tools, work surfaces, storage areas and guest seating.

• Work closely with culinary, restaurant, banquet and front-desk colleagues to provide seamless service throughout the hotel.

• Share helpful local recommendations and respond to guest questions with genuine care.

• Support promotions, special events, meetings and other hotel needs as assigned.

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, security, cash-handling and workplace-safety procedures at all times.
