Role Overview
Full-time support staff position with the Barrett Centre in the Faculty of Hospitality and Horticultural Science.
The role reports to the Barrett Centre Partnerships Manager.
The position is based at the Whitby campus and normally runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends on advance notice.

Position Information
Full-time support staff position with the Barrett Centre in the Faculty of Hospitality and Horticultural Science.
The role reports to the Barrett Centre Partnerships Manager.
The position is based at the Whitby campus and normally runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends on advance notice.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, plan, and execute community programming opportunities with Barrett Centre and Durham College staff.
- Coordinate events, workshops, tours, special projects, and stakeholder communications.
- Administer and maintain the CRM, portal, and LMS as the primary contact for usage, reporting, and upgrades.
- Coordinate back-end requirements with developers and organize resources and records.
- Build workflows and automations and prepare platform usage and engagement reports.
- Support strategic planning for Barrett Centre programming and events.
- Coordinate urban agriculture marketing objectives and social media content across platforms.
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and report on community programs and long-term urban agriculture consultation projects.
