The role prepares high-quality coffee and beverages while providing excellent customer service.

Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portion size, and beverage quality.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
Customer and Store Service
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Take customer orders and process cash or card payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and beverage preparation area.
- Monitor coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies and report stock requirements.
Standards and Teamwork
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety standards.
- Complete daily opening, closing, cleaning, and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Work with the Branch Manager, Supervisor, and team members to ensure smooth service.
- Support training and development of new baristas.
Senior Barista Scope
- Senior Baristas lead and support the barista team during busy service periods.
- Senior Baristas help ensure company standards are followed consistently.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food and beverage role is required.
- Senior Barista candidates should have proven coffee preparation and team support or supervision experience.
- Good knowledge of espresso-based coffee and beverage preparation is required.
- Customer service, communication, teamwork, reliability, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are required.
- Candidates must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain product quality.
Availability and Preferred Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays when required, is expected.
- Relevant barista, coffee, or food-safety qualifications are advantageous.
