Barista - Jumeirah Carlton Tower

An opportunity has arisen for a Barista to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Take orders and serve food and beverages as requested by guests, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.

This includes items such as coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, muffins, pastries, and cookies.

Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, including food and beverages, and provide recommendations and advice to guests and colleagues as necessary.

Ensure that guests receive the correct order and that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard operating procedures.

Contribute to the development of the bar menu and perfect recipes for signature drinks.

Collect money for orders served, process financial transactions following standard cashiering procedures, and ensure all bills are checked for accuracy before presentation to the guest.

Perform daily calibrations of equipment such as coffee machines and grinders before each shift to ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Higher Secondary School certificate or Country specific certification.

Basic Food and Hygiene Training.

List the requirements in clear and concise manner.

One year of experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel.

Must be available to work weekends, day, evenings and holidays.
