Role Overview
Join a modern café as a full-time Barista.
Prepare specialty coffee, matcha, cold-foam drinks, soft serve, and café food items.
Support quality, consistency, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based hot and iced beverages.
- Prepare matcha, cold-foam drinks, and specialty beverages to standardized recipes.
- Dial in espresso and maintain consistent extraction.
- Steam and texture milk correctly for different beverages.
- Maintain drink quality, presentation, portioning, and speed.
- Assist with simple food preparation and assembly.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Monitor stock and report replenishment needs.
- Clean and maintain café equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, cleaning, and temperature-control procedures.
- Check product freshness, labeling, and expiry dates.
- Assist with order packing and checking and complete opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- Previous Barista experience is required.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation, grinder adjustment, and milk steaming.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods.
- Willingness to assist with simple food preparation.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to follow recipes and operating procedures accurately.
- Flexibility for morning and evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Experience
- Specialty coffee experience is preferred.
- Experience preparing matcha and specialty cold beverages is advantageous.
Schedule
- The role involves rotating morning and evening shifts.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 2,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person in the UAE.
