The cook will maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency in kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of barbeque and tandoor items.
- Handle charcoal and gas grills and tandoor ovens safely and efficiently.
- Perform marination, skewering, portioning, and daily preparation.
- Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Ensure proper temperature control and cooking times.
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the grill, tandoor, and work area.
- Assist with stock control and report requirements in advance.
- Work efficiently during peak hours and bulk orders.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience as a Barbeque and Tandoor Cook.
- Strong knowledge of charcoal and gas barbeque and tandoor operations.
- Experience with high-volume restaurant or catering kitchens is preferred.
- Ability to independently manage a barbeque or tandoor section.
- Physically fit and able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
- Team player with good time management skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
