Bakery Cleaner

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities** Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize production floors, walls, and work surfaces.
• Wash and disinfect baking equipment, trays, racks, and utensils.
• Ensure ovens, mixers, refrigerators, and storage areas are kept clean externally.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste following hygiene procedures.
• Clean washrooms and staff areas regularly.

Food Safety & Compliance

• Follow HACCP and food safety guidelines.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Report any maintenance or hygiene issues immediately.

Storage & Organization

• Keep storage rooms neat and organized.
• Ensure cleaning tools are properly stored after use.
• Monitor stock of cleaning supplies and inform supervisor when low.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in bakery, restaurant, or food production facility preferred.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible with working shifts (including weekends and holidays if required).
