Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Backhoe Operator role located in Dubai.
The Backhoe Operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to complete excavation, loading, and trenching tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Daily responsibilities include digging, grading, and moving materials, maintaining equipment in good working order, conducting pre-operational checks, and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Collaboration with team members and site managers will be essential to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating backhoe machinery and other heavy equipment
- Understanding of safe excavation practices and site preparation techniques
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and performing pre-operational checks
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, markers, and instruction
- Strong awareness of safety regulations and protocols in a construction setting
- Excellent coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Backhoe Operator or related role
- Possession of a valid heavy equipment operator license or certification
