Role Overview
This is a contract Backend Software Engineer role for one of Quik Hire Staffing's clients.
The role involves developing and maintaining scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The position is remote and allows work from anywhere.
Compensation
- The payout is $50 to $70 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient algorithms.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of data structures and database systems.
