Role Overview
Contract Backend Software Engineer role developing and maintaining scalable software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Work remotely from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient algorithms.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of data structures and database systems.
Workplace
- The role is remote and supports collaboration with a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders.
Compensation
- Contract payout is $50 to $70 per hour.
