- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services
- Build secure, reliable, and maintainable REST APIs
- Design and optimize database architecture and performance
- Integrate third party APIs and external services
- Integrate AI services and Large Language Models (LLMs) into production systems
- Develop and maintain API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with Product, Mobile, Web, and AI teams
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system stability
Requirements
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, ExpressJS, or FastifyJS
- Experience with MongoDB, Mongoose, or Prisma
- Experience building REST APIs and using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and containerization with Docker
- Hands on experience integrating AI services such as OpenAI, Claude, or ElevenLabs
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
