Role Overview
Contract Backend Software Developer role supporting a client of Quik Hire Staffing.
Design and implement scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Work independently in a remote environment to deliver high-quality products.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Remote role with work-from-anywhere arrangement.
Compensation
- Payout is $50-$120 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using coding and architecture best practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for ongoing projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with software development frameworks and libraries relevant to the project.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write optimized, scalable code.
- Familiarity with version control systems, with Git preferred.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques for resolving technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across different time zones.
