Contract Backend Software Developer role focused on designing and implementing scalable software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently in a remote environment to deliver high-quality products.
Compensation and Job Type
- Contract position paying $50-$120 per hour.
Workplace
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using coding and architecture best practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to support system performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with relevant software development frameworks and libraries.
- Strong problem-solving ability and experience writing optimized, scalable code.
- Familiarity with version control systems, with Git preferred.
