Contract backend software development role focused on designing and implementing scalable software solutions.
The position requires modern development practices and independent work in a remote environment.
Compensation
- Payout is $50–$120 per hour.
Workplace
- Remote work from anywhere with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using coding and architecture best practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for ongoing projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with software development frameworks and libraries relevant to the project.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write optimized and scalable code.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques to resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across different time zones.
