Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, and model development.
• Monitor analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support for applications.
• Analyze complex application and business process issues and evaluate system processes and industry standards.
• Develop security measures through post-implementation analysis of business usage.
• Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Define operating standards and processes and coach new or lower-level analysts.
• Operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment and autonomy.
• Act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members.
• Assess and escalate risks and control issues while following applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policy.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
• Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications on OpenShift; Lightspeed experience is noted.
• Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot is a strong plus.
• Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting or project management techniques and methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.

Education

• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
