The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate-level technology role supporting new and revised application systems.
The position participates in application systems analysis and programming activities in coordination with the Technology team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, and model development activities.
- Establish and implement application systems and programs for business needs.
- Monitor analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation phases.
- Provide user and operational support to business users.
- Analyze complex application issues and evaluate business and system processes.
- Recommend security measures during post-implementation analysis.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Define operating standards and processes and coach junior analysts.
- Assess risk and manage control issues in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards.
Recommended qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Hands-on proficiency with Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
