The Right Profile

The role seeks a Backend Engineer to develop and own products that help bring people closer to their financial goals.

The product and engineering team is growing as Syfe builds and scales its platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of new products and features.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of backend APIs and the fund management system.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and maintain overall codebase quality.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Work with the product team to translate ideas into everyday business value.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have at least four years of professional software development experience.
  • Have a firm grasp of at least one programming language.
  • Experience with distributed systems is a plus.
  • Show curiosity about how systems work.
  • Have problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and a positive attitude.
