Role overview
Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations supporting AI products and internal tools.
Work closely with Full Stack Engineers to provide reliable backend services for scalable product development.
This is a mid-level backend engineering role with a four-month contract duration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python backend services and REST APIs.
- Build third-party and internal system integrations.
- Support AI-powered features and Human-in-the-Loop workflows.
- Design data models, backend workflows, and business logic.
- Build serverless and cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to reviews, testing, documentation, and releases.
- Own assigned backend feature and integration delivery while ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of total experience, including 3+ years in backend application development and production support.
- Hands-on Python backend development and strong REST API design and development experience.
- Experience with AWS, cloud-native applications, production databases, and third-party integrations.
