Backend Engineer (C# and .Net)

Location and Work Arrangement

• The role is based in Gurugram, India, with three days working from the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to system design, architecture, development, quality, and production deployment.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other R&D teams.
• Improve engineering practices, systems, processes, and scalability.
• Contribute to code reviews and promote engineering excellence.
• Monitor production systems and resolve critical production challenges.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and database management.
• Experience with message queues or streaming platforms such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
• Experience writing unit tests and knowledge of design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with microservices architecture and scalable component design.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
