Back-end Developer Intern - Mobile Application

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, testing and maintenance of the Route backend Application using .net
• Collaborate with the operations department to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with driver's needs and operational workflows
• Improve testing for the backend
• Write clean, efficient and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing mobile application features
• Support the deployment of mobile backend updates and ensure performance reliability
• The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in C#
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, including Java, Python and JavaScript is an asset
• Knowledge of web development frameworks and databases is an asset
• Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with an eagerness to learn
