Responsibilities
- AWS Platform Engineering1: • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure. • Automate platform provisioning, deployment, and operational activities. • Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security compliance. • Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, and optimization activities. • Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams to deliver cloud solutions. Production Support (BAU Operations): • Provide support for Production BAU requests and operational activities. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and technology teams to resolve incidents within defined SLAs. • Manage service requests, change requests, and incident tickets in ServiceNow. • Maintain operational runbooks, knowledge base articles, and support documentation. • Participate in change implementation, release support, and post-deployment validation activities. Support Coverage: • Provide operational and production support coverage from 8:00 AM AEST to 5:00 PM AEST. • Respond to production incidents, user-raised issues, and BAU operational requests within agreed SLAs. • Ensure service availability and operational stability during the support window.
