AWS Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

Accountabilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Advise clients on AWS architecture and implementation aligned with business requirements.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application deployment challenges.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Build and maintain CI/CD processes using GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools.
• Configure Kubernetes clusters and support containerized application deployments.
• Design secure AWS VPC networking and apply cloud security controls.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency while meeting storage and processing requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and engineering teams and stay current with AWS and cloud engineering practices.

Requirements

• Experience as a Cloud Engineer, AWS Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a related infrastructure role.
• Hands-on production or client-environment experience deploying and configuring AWS resources.
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based containerized deployments.
• Understanding of AWS networking, VPC architecture, cloud security, automation, and configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Adaptability across varied client environments and business requirements.
• AWS Associate- or Professional-level certification is preferred.

• Expected base salary is $105,000–$120,000 USD annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.
