Role Overview
Lead a major modernization initiative within a globally distributed engineering environment.
Own the transition from a legacy monolithic architecture to scalable microservices from analysis through production release.
Combine hands-on technical leadership with architecture, delivery management, quality improvement, coaching, and career development.
Accountabilities
- Own end-to-end modernization delivery and maintain visibility into status, dependencies, and risks.
- Partner with Product and Architecture teams on specifications, legacy dependencies, feasibility, and estimates.
- Guide architecture across .NET Core services, SQL and NoSQL databases, and frontend integrations.
- Resolve complex backend, data migration, performance, and production issues as the primary technical escalation point.
- Improve Jira-based delivery practices, estimation, process discipline, QA collaboration, release quality, and production stability.
- Conduct one-on-ones, provide feedback, support career development, and drive improvements in team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Strong .NET engineering background with deep expertise in C#, .NET 8, and ASP.NET Core.
