Position Summary
The role is a Lead Software Engineer II within Deloitte’s Enterprise Performance team.

Architecture and Engineering
- Design, implement, and secure cloud-native AWS architectures for scalable, resilient, and audit-ready business solutions.
- Lead production generative AI solutions involving RAG, agent-based orchestration, and secure LLM service integration.
- Define networking and security architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Establish standards for high availability, observability, deployment automation, and performance optimization.
Collaboration and Delivery
- Collaborate with solution architects, security architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Align architecture decisions with functional, operational, and compliance requirements.
- Mentor or direct junior team members and liaise with onsite and offshore teams.
- Deliver high-quality work products within required timelines.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years designing and implementing secure, scalable AWS architectures across cloud, data, and networking services.
- Production experience deploying generative AI, LLM, RAG, or agent-based solutions.
- Experience with AWS network architectures using VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, PrivateLink, NACLs, and security groups.
- Experience implementing AWS security controls using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, SSO, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Shield, and WAF.
- Experience designing distributed or cloud-native architectures with event-driven, batch, streaming, hybrid-cloud, multi-region, API, and observability patterns.
- Experience with Python, Node.js, Bash, or Java and infrastructure automation tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
- A qualifying engineering or technology degree from an accredited university is required.
Preferred Qualification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
Work Schedule
- Shift timings are 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST, based on business requirements.

Enterprise Performance Team
The team supports finance, supply chain, and IT operations through strategy, process design, technology enablement, and operational services.

The team translates strategic objectives into measurable operational outcomes for clients.
