JOB POST: Automotive Trim Removal & Refit Technician
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Trim Removal & Refit Technician to join our PPF and detailing workshop.
This is not a PPF installer role.
The main job is to safely remove and refit vehicle parts before and after PPF installation.
You must have strong experience working with car parts, clips, trims, panels, bumpers, lights, handles, badges, mirrors, and interior/exterior trim.
The right person may come from a mechanic, denter, body shop, or car dismantling background.
Responsibilities
- Remove and refit vehicle parts safely for PPF installation
- Work on bumpers, door handles, badges, trims, mirrors, lights, grilles, panels, and clips
- Understand how different car brands are assembled
- Remove parts without breaking clips, damaging paint, or denting panels
- Refit parts properly after PPF installation
- Check that all parts are aligned and secure after refitting
- Support the workshop team when required
- Help with detailing, polishing, or PPF preparation when needed
- Report any issue or damage immediately
Requirements
- Experience as a mechanic, denter, body shop technician, car dismantler, or trim technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and fittings
- Able to work on luxury and high-end vehicles
- Careful hands and attention to detail
- Must know how to remove parts without damage
- Honest, responsible, and able to follow instructions
- PPF workshop experience is a plus, but not required
Important
This role is for someone who knows how to dismantle and refit car parts safely.
We do not need a PPF installer.
We do not need only a detailer.
We need someone with strong experience removing and refitting vehicle parts without damage.
