Automation Engineer (Robotics)
Location: Hamilton, IN Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Engineering Manager
The Automation Engineer (Robotics) supports Triton manufacturing operations by designing, programming, implementing, and maintaining robotic and automated systems.
Robotics Programming & Integration
Program and troubleshoot industrial robots including FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, KUKA, and Universal Robots.
Develop robotic welding, material handling, machine tending, and palletizing applications.
Support robotic cell installations and commissioning.
PLC & Controls Engineering
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems.
Develop and maintain electrical schematics and controls documentation.
Automation Process Development
Identify opportunities to automate manual manufacturing processes.
Design and implement solutions that improve throughput, quality, and safety.
Production Support
Provide daily support for robotic and automated equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
