Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to engineering specifications and production requirements in a safe manner.
- Operate metal fabrication equipment, including punching, sheering, and coping.
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety protocols and keeping equipment clean.
- Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet precise standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements/Preferences
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or welding preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of different metals, their properties, and fabrication techniques.
- Physical dexterity and stamina to work with heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to producing precision components.
- Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing production needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Dedication to workplace safety regulations and protocols
