About the Role

The role focuses on automation implementation, regression coverage, manual testing, quality metrics, defect triage, and collaboration across QA, development, and product teams.

The position supports multi-platform applications and European development and quality teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases, and design automated testing strategies.
  • Conduct regression, performance, load, manual, API, and cross-system data validation testing.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, product, and European quality teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Monitor quality metrics, lead bug triage, document features, and prioritize defects.
  • Lead multi-platform automation implementation and maintain reliable regression suites.
  • Apply shift-left testing practices and identify automation opportunities across products.
  • Take ownership of risks, drive solutions, support releases, and guide timely, high-quality delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java and Java-based automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Angular applications, REST APIs, backend validation, and dynamic XPath strategies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or MySQL, including medium to complex queries for data validation and analysis.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and with Scrum ceremonies.
  • Experience with test and defect management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
  • Ability to take ownership, proactively drive tasks, and work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in mobile application testing, mobile automation frameworks, and exposure to JavaScript or C++.
  • Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex, domain-driven, or integrated systems.
  • Mentoring and team leadership experience.
  • Ability to use AI-assisted tools to improve automation scripting, test design, and productivity.
