About the Role
EcoSmart Energy System LLC seeks an Automation Engineer Intern to support energy automation and smart metering systems. The role involves PLC programming, SCADA configuration, IoT integration, and field automation.

Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of energy automation and smart metering systems
- Assist in PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and HMI development for energy applications
- Work on data acquisition from smart meters, sensors, and energy monitoring devices
- Assist in integration of IoT based energy management systems (EMS)
- Support troubleshooting of field automation and communication systems (Modbus, TCP/IP, RS485)
- Help in testing and commissioning of energy automation projects
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system performance data
- Coordinate with engineering team for utility and energy efficiency solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or related disciplines
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience
- Exposure to energy monitoring systems / smart meters / AMR AMI systems
- Understanding of Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- Awareness of IoT platforms used in energy automation
- Basic programming knowledge (Python / C / Ladder Logic)
