- Manage and coordinate all authority approvals, permits, and NOCs with government entities
- Submit and follow up on construction related applications to municipalities, Civil Defense, utilities, and other authorities
- Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements
- Liaise with consultants, engineers, and project teams to resolve authority comments and approvals
- Track all submissions and ensure timely closure of approvals to avoid project delays
- Attend authority inspections, site visits, and coordination meetings
- Maintain proper records of all authority correspondence, approvals, and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in authority approvals within the UAE construction industry
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations, procedures, and building codes
- Proven experience dealing with government authorities and regulatory bodies
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow up skills
- Must have construction field experience

Job Description
- We are seeking a highly experienced Authority Engineer to serve as the technical decision maker and subject matter expert within our engineering organization.
- You will hold and enforce engineering standards, provide binding technical rulings, and ensure all designs, modifications, and deviations meet regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
- This is a leadership role with real authority — your sign off matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all authority approvals, permits, and NOCs with government entities.
- Submit and follow up on construction related applications to municipalities, Civil Defense, utilities, and other authorities.
- Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements.

Salary Range
- 10,000 AED 15,000 AED (Depend up on the experience)
