- Monitor, analyze, and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports
- Track actual costs against approved budgets and identify cost variances
- Review subcontractor payments, purchase orders, invoices, and material costs
- Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation
- Support change order evaluations and assess financial impacts of project variations
- Prepare monthly cost performance reports and management dashboards
- Identify potential cost saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project timelines
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and project contractual requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in high rise building construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Experience with BOQs, progress billing, subcontractor management, and project cost tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Overview
