Role Overview
CIBC is seeking an Audit Manager for Technology Operations, Security, and Resilience Internal Audit.
The role reports to the Director of Internal Audit and provides technology risk coverage, leadership, insight, and proactive control advice.
The position covers CIBC and outsourced technology environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls across technology infrastructure, systems, information security, operational resilience, access, data, and cloud services.
- Perform and document audit work according to CIBC Internal Audit methodology and remain accountable for audit procedure and documentation quality.
- Contribute to the annual technology audit plan and assess risk coverage across audit groups.
- Participate in or manage technology audits, maintain quality within plans and budgets, and identify emerging risks.
- Communicate risk and control trends to Internal Audit and senior management and review contracts for appropriate audit rights.
Experience and Knowledge
- Have 2–4 years of technology audit experience.
- Understand risks related to infrastructure, networks, system access and security, cloud technology, operational resilience, regulatory requirements, and technology controls.
