Role overview
CIBC is seeking a Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis for its Capital Markets Technology Team.
The role supports Global Derivatives and Strategic Risks Technology by leading complex projects and designing strategic solutions.
Work arrangement
- The role uses a hybrid work arrangement with one to two days per week onsite and the remaining days remote.
Core responsibilities
- Gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions with business partners.
- Build client-focused solutions and prepare solution design documents covering scope, requirements, and quality assurance.
- Lead end-to-end project implementation as a business and technology subject matter expert.
- Partner with Sales, Trading, Quants, Control groups, and Technology teams across the trade and risk management lifecycle.
- Provide technical and analytical leadership for secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
- Manage requirements, resources, delivery timelines, and risks for cross-functional projects.
- Provide direction on XTRADER-related initiatives and oversee onboarding of new rates instruments.
